Start your 2 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga with pick up at your hotel in the morning after breakfast. You will have the first stop in Ifrane, known as the Swiss of Morocco, to enjoy its beauty and take unforgettable photos. After that, head to Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest.
We continue our way to Midelt (The capital of apples ) for a local lunch and a delicious one. In the afternoon, we cross the pass of Tizi N’Talghoumt to reach Errachidia while admiring the view of the Ziz Valley. Later on, we will stop in the Ziz Valley’s panoramic view.
The desert tour continues to the dunes of Erg Chebbi through Aoufous and Erfoud (the last one is famous for fossils and data), where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop.
Then head to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive at the place where camels will take you through the orange dunes, and get ready for an hour-and-a-half camel ride to enjoy the sunset. On the back of your camel, you will head to the desert camp to spend the night in a traditional nomadic tent. after your dinner, you will enjoy listening to and dancing to some of Berber’s music called Drums music.
The next day, we recommend that you wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on top of the dune in the Sahara desert near the camp, then have breakfast and take a shower in the camp.
After these beautiful moments, return your camel to the original starting point or bring it in 4×4 if you prefer.
